The 6HX PTFE Heater provides exceptional chemical resistance to aggressive acids, featuring a 6-element design with low watt density. It includes a built-in thermal protector and grounded element. The fluoropolymer (PTFE) sleeved 304 stainless steel elements are inert to most solutions, and the heater is equipped with a corrosion-resistant head. Available in three-phase with power ratings from 2000-12000 watts and voltages from 208-600 volts.

Features
- PTFE sleeved 304 stainless elements inert to most solutions up to 212°F (100°C)
- Low watt density design 10 watts/square inch (1.5w/cm²)
- Vapor resistant, flame retardant polypropylene terminal enclosure with 3 ft (.9m) flexible PVC liquid tight conduit
- Grounded internal metal element and built in thermal protector. Replaceable P1 protector standard for solutions up to 180°F(82°C)

Specify thermal overload protection desired. Guards are recommended on over the side heaters and required on L-Shaped heaters. Standard guard is polypropylene. Fluoropolymer (PTFE) guards recommended for chromic acid and solutions exceeding 180º F (82ºC).
